Carney on the Iranian warships: “Is Fox reporting that?”

What a symbolic moment.  Bridget Johnson caught this one on Monday (emphasis added):

“There was an Iranian announcement that they are moving ships close to the United States, and we have no evidence that Iran is, in fact, sending ships close to the U.S. border,” press secretary Jay Carney told reporters today.

Fox News’s Catherine Herridge has unearthed a secret cable sent on 16 August which details the concerns of the US mission in Benghazi about its security, given the presence of multiple terrorist training camps in the city, and the loss of police control by the government.
