  1. That is a pretty naive statement. I find it hard to believe Israeli government is as stupid as the brilliance seen in the oval office here.

    Yes, your critique is valid, and the circumstances warrant all the rhetorical powers that you bring to bear on the subject. But, I wonder if before embarking on that you could have stated the basic fact of who said what to who. Attribution, attribution, attribution. And having done that, you might have simply relegated this comment to the status of a footnote to the more sweeping criticism of the Obama administration’s handling of foreign affairs that we all share: just one more ill-advised comment by an amateurish lesser official. Hardly deserving of your scorn, when there are such vastly more important instances of failure to be observed.

    Apropo of that subject, how about this one:

    “I do not worry much about Russia. Russia is a mere regional power. I am more concerned about a terrorist bomb going off in New York than I am about anything that Russia might do.”
