  1. My gosh, what a broadside, but what is the target ?? I guess we should all regret the day that General Allenby sent T.E. Lawrence to Faisal, and decided not to leave Mesopotamia and Syria to the Turks. But then it was the Turks who were stupid enough to attack a Russian warship, and thus enter WW I.

You will not get any quarrel from me, for personal attacks do not interest me, nor does assessing blame for past misdeeds. A broken clock is right twice a day. And if what Dick Cheney said was right, it was right. But I wonder if you could take some of your own medicine, and simply tell your readers what it is you think we should do ? You sure are on the right path, if you ask me, when you suggest that we limit the warfare in Iraq by putting a stop to it in Syria.

Why are you chasing after a journalist ? Ignore the personalities. And make your case loud and clear. This will come as a welcome change to the conflicting signals coming from the Obama administration.
