After the Fall: TOC speaking event in Los Angeles 2 October

On 2 October, TOC will be joining bloggers Rick Richman and Omri Ceren for a discussion of Israel, the Palestinian statehood push, and the changing international situation at the Luxe Hotel, at the 405 and Sunset Blvd, in Los Angeles.

Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors (Los Angeles) is sponsoring the event, which should make for an excellent evening.  Please see the flier reproduced below for specifics.  If you will be in the LA area on the 2nd and plan to attend, please RSVP by clicking on the flier image in the right-hand column of the TOC home page (scroll down).

The event will be videorecorded (although not live-streamed).  If you can’t make it on the 2nd, CJHS-LA will have the video available afterward.

As always, many thanks to Doris Wise Montrose of CJHS-LA for putting this event together.  Hope to see you there!

  1. Do well Have a good time I’ll catch it on tape.

You’ll be the blue-eyed one, right?

  2. Wish I could be there. I’ll be thinking on you and the good discussion.

  3. will you spend much time talking about the changing international situation at the Luxe Hotel?

(and when are you gonna write something about Nadarkhani ?)

    • Re Nadarkhani: check Patheos on Monday.

      • I looked forward to doing so.

Can’t say that I can doubt your faith. It seems strong enough to overwhelm your reason.

      • Being serious and looking to understand your views, i would ask you if you think that requiring LDS members not to engage in plural marriage was and is an infringement of their religious rights and/or liberty?
